OMTU

The operational maintenance training unit, constructed in a double-wide trailer, was equipped with all of the PMEE, prime mission electronic equipment installed in an ARIA aircraft. In a separate radome located by the trailer, housed the same 83-inch parabolic steerable antenna in the nose radome of the ARIA aircraft.

As the name implies, the OMTU allowed PMEE crews to train on the equipment, enabling real-time mission simulations.
